An open world, a few good companions, and the freedom to do something unexpected. That’s Chris’s kind of adventure.
Chris grew up in England and moved to South Africa with his partner Tammy in 2021. Starting with an empty farm, they built up their home with buildings, water and a little electricity.
His D&D roots include a UK group with rotating DMs and plenty of one-shots. During Covid, he took games online and ran Tyranny of Dragons with his family, completing the campaign in 2022.
Your choices shape the story
Chris likes to follow the party’s curiosity rather than force a fixed path. Rules give encounters structure, but the rule of cool makes space for creative solutions. An unexpected turn is an invitation to spin a new tale.
Everyone’s comfort matters. Bring your ideas and character concepts, and speak up about anything you’d prefer to keep out of the game.
Beyond the DM screen
Chris is a professional web developer who enjoys travel, building life on the farm and experimenting with braai techniques. He runs games in English and is working on his Afrikaans.
You’ll find him bringing that same curiosity to the table: different groups, different stories, and room for everyone to make the adventure their own.
